Fall River free summer concert series back for 6th year

Fall River is bringing free live music, arts and crafts, food and family fun to local parks throughout July and August.

The city, Narrows Center for the Arts and Bristol County Savings Bank are teaming up for the sixth annual Summer Evenings in the Park, according to a community announcement.

The event series is held 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and rotates among eight parks.

“One of the missions of the Narrows is to make the arts accessible to all in our community. This is an opportunity for the Narrows to bring what we do into the neighborhoods of Fall River. The arts are a great way to enliven neighborhoods, to bring people together, and to create a sense of community. We are excited to partner with the City of Fall River on this important project,” Patrick Norton, executive director of the Narrows Center, said, according to the announcement.
