The lawyer for the holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy's mistrial is blasting a defense request to investigate his client. 

Clancy is the Massachusetts woman who admitted killing her three young children in 2023 but claimed she shouldn't be held criminally responsible due to suffering from postpartum psychosis. 

Attorney Edward Paltzik says questioning his client would undermine protections for jury deliberations. 

Clancy attorney Kevin Reddington is asking the judge to review the juror's questionnaire, cellphone activity and court history. 

The jury deadlocked 11-to-1 before a mistrial was declared earlier this month.  A hearing on the defense request is scheduled for September 29th.
