Governor Maura Healey says housing and health care are priorities for her second term.
Speaking in Lynn Wednesday after her reelection victory, she also pledged to pursue social media regulations and protect workers from the effects of artificial intelligence.
Labor leaders and advocates are pressing her to address school funding, data privacy and abortion access. Healey says she is still considering whether to declare a new abortion law an emergency measure so it can take effect immediately. She also hopes Democratic control of Congress will give Massachusetts a stronger partner in Washington.
